Commission Guidelines
Thank you for taking interest in my work and considering a commission from me! I'm excited to potentially work with you and make something you will love!
Please review the guidelines and Terms of Service below.
Visual references are strongly encouraged to help me bring your character to life with accuracy.
If you already have references, you're ahead of the game (yay!)! But if you do not have character-specific visual refs, that is ok! Be as descriptive as possible and provide refs for certain features such as skin tone, body type, hairstyle and color, age/height, clothing/accessories/notable features. You can contact me via email, on my Ko-Fi, or through the form at the bottom of this page to discuss more details.
Please note: Unclear references and communication may delay your commission or lead to your request being declined.Progress updates will be shared at these stages of production: finished sketch and when flat colors are laid.
All previews will be cropped, watermarked, and low-res.Clients are entitled to 2 complimentary revisions during the sketch phase, and 1 color revision during the flat color stage before any rendering begins (if applicable).
After your commission is complete, you will receive:
A full-resolution PNG of your commission at A4 scale, 300 DPI.
Please note that there will not be a physical delivery of your commission.Commissions will be completed based on the following listed priority:
1) Rush order (additional fee of 50% of order price applies)
2) Repeat clients
3) New clients
*If someone has already paid for a rush slot, you will be the next rush after them.Your commission may take 3 weeks to 3 months from the date of confirmation, based on character complexity, commission type, your queue position, and my current workload.
Terms of Service
Please review these terms carefully. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the TOS below.
Payment must be paid in full before I will begin your commission.
Rec-Spectra, the artist, retains all rights to the artwork, which includes the right to post the work on their social media accounts, use it in portfolios, galleries, and other promotional material (unless the client requests a private commission - this will incur an additional fee of $50).
The client must credit me, (Rec-Spectra) as the artist if displaying or posting the artwork. A link to one of my social medias would be lovely, but is not required.Commissioned artwork may only be used for personal use, NOT commercial use. No reselling/redistributing, mass production or merchandising, corporate campaigns, using as a stock image or template, tracing or editing the commissioned artwork, and no AI training or NFT usage.
I reserve the right to decline any commission request at my sole discretion.
In the event an order cannot be completed and work has not been started, a full refund will be issued.
Requests for refunds will not be accepted after work has already been done.If you are unsatisfied with your commission, please contact me directly via email before taking further action.
Disputes filed through payment processors will result in an immediate cancellation of your order and forfeiture of permissive rights to works in progress or artwork already completed, and you will be permanently blacklisted from making future purchases.
